I gave them my heart; they wanted my eyes, ears too My Role: Mentor

We’re not all created equal.

We don’t have the same chances.

We all have bad-breaks, set backs and unforced errors. And the reality is for many people second chances don’t happen.

I have a lot to be thankful for in my career. I’ve been able to work with great people and share my passion of creativity with the world. Therefore, any time I can share my experiences and sage advice with others I’m willing to do that and more.

When I got a call from Dan at Manifestworks, I relished at the opportunity to be a part of helping young men and women gain their footing on a solid career path in TV/Film production.

Manifestworks gives a second and for many a final chance at a career for many disadvantaged individuals marred by past activity. They teach them skills and set them up with real opportunities in a role where people won’t look at them side-eyed as long as they get the job done.

I came in and lent a hand to the members craft a video, showing their story and putting their new found skills to work. I gave them my heart. But really they just wanted me to listen to their story and guide them as they shared it with the world.
